Why I Am Running for
Gallatin County Sheriff.
I have lived in Gallatin County for over 35 years. The people, places, values, and community they form have become deeply important to me. I am running for Sheriff to protect and reinforce the values that make Montana what it is.
- Make a meaningful difference in Gallatin County.
- Stand for justice, law, and order—not left or right politics.
- Protect the constitutional rights of everyone.
- Hold everyone to the same laws, regardless of power, wealth, status, or authority.
- Stand up when those in power act unlawfully.
- Have the backbone to defend the community and safeguard people’s rights.
Campaign Priorities
Justice, Law and Order
Justice, Law, and Order are the foundation of a strong, welcoming community. They must be applied equally and fairly to everyone, regardless of power or status. As Sheriff, I will protect people’s rights, uphold the law, and ensure no one is above it.
Maintain an efficient, effective Sheriff’s Office
I will maintain and improve the Sheriff’s Office’s efficient, professional operations while serving the residents of Gallatin County.
Community
I will promote a strong, safe community by ensuring the Sheriff’s Office remains accountable to and supportive of the people it serves.
Mental Health
I will prioritize training and resources to ensure those in crisis are treated with respect and compassion and feel safe seeking help.
